To get the best possible engraving inside your crystal, please follow these guidelines when submitting your photo:

✔ Use a high-quality image

• Clear, sharp photos work best (not blurry or pixelated)
• Avoid screenshots or heavily compressed images

✔ Choose good lighting

• Bright, natural lighting is ideal
• Avoid dark photos or strong shadows across faces

✔ Simple backgrounds are best (or remove background. See Below for How To)

• Plain or lightly blurred backgrounds help your subject stand out
• Busy backgrounds may reduce engraving clarity

✔ Close-up subjects work best

• Faces, pets, or objects should be centered and clearly visible
• Avoid full-body shots from far away

✔ Contrast matters

• Images with good contrast (light vs dark areas) engrave much better
• Very dark or very light photos may lose detail

• Make sure eyes, nose, and facial details are clearly visible
• Avoid photos taken at extreme angles
• Sitting or standing still photos work best (not action shots)
